New Patio Finished

On Saturday we had someone come by to give us a quote for pouring a stamped concrete patio. He said he should be able to get started probably on Wednesday, we said that was great and I planned to work from home so that someone would be around if they had any questions about anything.

On Tuesday we got a call around 11am that they were ready to start if we were ready for them. Panic!

I couldn’t find my boss but he’s a pretty good guy so I sent him an email and told him I’d be working from home for the rest of the day because the patio was going in early. Now that I think about it I never did hear anything from him about that, so I’m guessing that means he was OK with it!

So they started around 11:30 and I think they may have left around 7:30 that night, but it looks SO GOOD! It was just two men working on it, a guy and his dad, and they really did such a great job. I can’t say enough good things about them, so if anyone knows anyone in the area who needs a patio I can make a recommendation!

Anyways, my mom said she couldn’t believe I hadn’t posted about it yet, and she’s right! I would have posted about it on Tuesday except that I was reading Twilight which came in the mail Tuesday. Which is another post all on its own.

So it’s done, and it’s awesome and it needs a little cleanup around the edges which I’m sort of unsure how to do, but we’re definitely thrilled with the results!
