I feel like I need another long weekend to recover from my long weekend!
Friday was spent pretty much cleaning and pre-cooking for a party we were having Saturday. Saturday we went to a brewery tour in Pittsboro at the Carolina Brewery, then came home to do more cooking and stuff. Then of course there was the party itself and Meg fell asleep in my guest room and then woke up (and then woke me up) at 3:30 am because she was worried about her sick cat (who has started recovery) and she couldn’t find her phone so I helped her look for the phone and (which we couldn’t find) and then off she went to check on her cat.
Of course one weird night of sleep and now my sleep schedule is completely off. So Sunday night I woke up at 4:45 and then again at 5:10 and then at 5:25, and then the alarm went off at 5:30. Last night I woke up at 4:40 and pretty much only drifted in and out of sleep again maybe from 5:15-5:30.
So tonight I’m going to bed early and hoping for a miracle. Once my body gets on a weird schedule like that it’s really hard to break.
