Typical.

So have I mentioned that I love Daylights Savings Time? Well… I mean I love it when it’s time to gain an hour anyways. So this year, the time changed, I got up at like 7:30 on Sunday then went to bed at 9:30 since my body thought it was 10:30 and somehow I STILL woke up at 5:20, 15 minutes before the alarm went off.

Lately I’ve been waking up between 15-20 minutes before the alarm goes off. My internal clock is apparently VERY accurate, but I did not think it would adjust to the time change so quickly! Seriously, it’s not cool.

Also, while I was station surfing on the radio yesterday on my way to the grocery store I heard Christmas music on one of the stations. It was CHRISTMAS music in the BEGINNING of November. Am I the only one who sees a problem with that? Fortunately I was quickly distracted by the fact that the next song was only one of my favorite Christmas songs ever (Snoopy vs. the Red Baron).  I don’t know why but I seriously love that song. And while I’m excited that Christmas is coming and I love the decorating and the baking and the lights and pretty much everything about Christmas but the mall traffic, it’s WAY too early for Christmas music. Atleast wait until AFTER Thanksgiving.

  1. I was looking forward to gaining an hour too, until the baby reminded me that her internal clock wasn’t going to reset for anything.

I bought a Christmas tree the day after Halloween! I was shocked all the stuff was out already.

  2. Oh wow I can’t believe Christmas stuff is popping up already. That is scary. It might be time to go dig up that Twisted Sister Christmas disc again.. oh which reminds me, I was at Best Buy recently and they have a Twisted Sister Christmas DVD now! Its half live concert of Christmas music and then a couple videos at the end. How funny!
