Neat Freaks

Tomorrow Nate’s brother is coming into town with his wife and their daughter. We’ve spent this evening doing some hard core cleaning. Mareyna is just a year old and will probably be spending a lot of time on the floor. We don’t want her to end up too furry!

So we’ve cleaned dogs, dog beds, dog towels (from the dog baths),  vacuumed, dusted, cleaned the cat post. It’s good to do a few times a year, to keep the fur buildup to a minimum but MAN does my back hurt now.

And on another note – those jeans.. (yeah, those jeans) came out of the wash a lot better than I thought they would. Don’t get me wrong, there is still definitely paint on them, but they’re still wearable. Just not wear-to-work-able any more. But hey, I’ll take what I can get!

aaah, fur coating. I consider it a decorating techinique. have you heard about the furminator? http://www.furminator.com/ Its apparently a miracle worker. I ordered one, it should come in the mail tomorrow, I will let you know how it does on my kids.

  2. Holy crap, that’s a lot of fur (I just went to that website for the Furminator).

I don’t have as many pets as you, but the cat hair on the furniture drives me mad. We got a vacuum that has one of those special pet hair tools – some kind of rolling brush that does the stairs and furniture REALLY well.

The furminator is AWESOME. It works really well, even on the cats, and they’re both short haired!!

I have one of those tools, but the brush on mine doesn’t seem to spin, and I think that makes in not work as well. I wonder what Im doing wrong.

  4. We have a furminator! I’ve never gotten as much hair off the dogs as those pictures have, but probably because we all get tired of it before it gets that far.
