I’m cooking a chicken for dinner tonight. That’s right. A chicken. Those of you who know me and my food oddities might be surprised that I would even look at a whole dead chicken, much less cook one!
First of all, the cookbook described tucking the legs in some sort of skin fold that I couldn’t find, and don’t even get me started on the thing I pulled out of the inside of the chicken. I don’t know nor do I want to know what it was but seriously? EWW!
So then I put the chicken in the roaster thingie, rubbed it with garlic, tossed on some more herbs and hoped for the best. It’s in the oven now for 1 hour 45 minutes so we’ll see how it turns out!
Anyways, I’m looking for new recipes so if anyone has anything good they want to share with me, feel free!
And also, thank your lucky stars I didn’t think to take pictures of the chicken preparation because whole chickens are kind of funny.
